Hey everyone I'm Melissa Scarlett-Tate, CEO and founder of Queen Tate Cosmetics, LLC. I'm a mother, a wife, and a proud Black-owned business owner. And yes, you're probably wondering: why did she start her own business?

Honestly? I just couldn't find the right lip care solution. As someone who cared deeply about what I put on my skin, I kept running into products full of chemicals and empty promises. So in 2022, right here in Richmond, I decided to create something better  for myself, and for every person who deserves to feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.

That's how Queen Tate Cosmetics was born: out of a real need, a mother's instinct, and a passion for clean, luxurious beauty.
